The biggest award show in the music industry, the Grammy Awards 2025 have been confirmed ahead with key details concerning of the 67th edition of the awards. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming award ceremony.

When would the nominees be announced?

Following the official confirmation of the close of submissions for the Grammy Awards 2025, the official date for when the nominees would be announced November 8, 2024.

When is the Grammy Awards 2025?

The 67th edition of the Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, in the United States of America. The premiere ceremony of the Grammy Awards will commence on Sunday, with the main ceremony itself starting in the early hours of Monday, West Africa Time.

Here are the official dates for the 67th edition of Grammy Awards itself:

  • Sept. 16, 2023 – Aug. 30, 2024: Product eligibility period
  • July 8, 2024 – Aug. 23, 2024: Media company registration period
  • July 17, 2024 – Aug. 30, 2024: Online entry period
  • Oct. 4, 2024 – Oct. 15, 2024: First-round voting
  • Nov. 8, 2024: Nominees announced
  • Dec. 12, 2024 – Jan. 3, 2025: Final-round voting
  • Feb. 2, 2025: 67th annual Grammy Awards

 

What are the key changes of Grammy Awards 2025?

Here are new changes that have been made to categories ahead of the 2025 Grammy Awards:

  • The Best Remixed Recording Category has shifted from the Production, Engineering, Composition & Arrangement Field to the Pop & Dance/Electronic Field.
  • The Category previously titled Best Pop Dance Recording is now called Best Dance Pop Recording.
  • The Best Dance/Electronic Music Album Category has been renamed to Best Dance/Electronic Album, with a revised requirement that albums must consist of at least 50% Dance/Electronic tracks to be eligible.
  • Conjunto music will now be recognized within the Best Regional Roots Music Album Category, instead of the Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano) Category.
  • For the Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media Category, a new guideline has been set to allow released content, such as new downloadable content (DLC) and Seasonal Expansions, to qualify. To be eligible, over 50% of the music on a Video Game or Interactive Media Soundtrack must be derived from newly released episodes or programs within the GRAMMY eligibility period.
